Bavaro was better.

This should have been tried years ago.

We have plenty of time to trash our new HC who is responsible for the draft and development of players. I will give the new guy 8 games before I trash him, not on draft night number 2 and 3 picks.

2024 may go on record as one of most underperforming teams in Bengal history. Bengal's FO has major work to do on defensive side of the ball. I say tag and trade Tee Higgins in 2025 to start with the rebuild.

Is Will Grier still available?
Everything in this post is my fault.

If you waited until the number 2 and 3 picks to start trashing ZT you'd still be weeks behind that guy.

Would love for them to package some of their picks tomorrow to move into this rd for Gardner-Johnson S, Jordan G, Butler WR, Williams Rb

And that's coming from me - a Bengals fan! Bengals fans can talk down to the Browns for never winning anything lol.

They beat us twice last year, but I can see why you chose to sleep through those ones.

Nope. Not gonna happen. Not going to praise everything my team does either just to try to make myself feel better.

He was pretty good in Tecmo Bowl too.

Oh step off the slippery slope. I’m not trashing Taylor. For all I know, these aren’t completely his picks. But even if they are, I can still think he blew it in round 2 and be optimistic for his reign.

Well that's... something, I guess?

There were plenty of years when mediocre-to-bad Bengals teams swept Cleveland and I don't remember getting all that excited about it. Good for them, though, I guess after 12 straight losing seasons (something the Bengals of the 90s didn't even do) you take what you can get.

This is why i hate debating with most people on here. You're not even paying attention. I erased everything you typed after that sentence without even reading it.

I already said, more than once, that he's a good player to have on the team and i think he has potential to do more in the passing game than he did at Washington, since they didn't really use him much.

But...

I'll say it again.

Whether or not the Bengals have (i already forgot his name, that's how inconsequential i veiw him) that TE guy on the team, is not going to help decide whether the Bengals are good or not.

They wasted a 2nd round pick when it more likely than not that he was going to be there a couple rounds later.

For those keeping score, two other TEs were taken after the Bengals pick. Both in the 3rd round. Both pass catching TEs.

Guess what round is coming up next tomorrow?
Guess where the Bengals pick?

I don't follow.  I'm supposed to be optimistic about the Bengals, but I'm also supposed to believe that the Browns sweeping us last year meant nothing because we can become an XFL-caliber team when adversity strikes.  Fandom is some confusing stuff to unwrap at times.

And I'll have you know I still point out the year we went 3-13 and still swept the Steelers.

Now for the 64 million dollar question. Can you name 1 more?

Most likely, but the 1 pt is all I needed for the victory. So why continue?

I liked that we stayed with those three areas in first three rounds.. none of us are coaches in the NFL.. so we might not be happy with the player we got but they valued and they picked within our need areas .. so i am happy on that

I think people were universally happy with Williams.

Come on man...a blocking TE in the 2nd Round projected to go in 4? You can atleast see why people would criticize that right?

Go get that guy in 3 or 4.
