The funny thing is they had some $50 million in cap space this offseason and spent A LOT of money...likely overpaying guys like Kerry Wynn, John Miller, BW Webb...and injured Dennard, Eifert, Preston Brown, and Bobby Hart.

Pro sports is a dream business since the costs and barriers to enter are prohibiting to 99% of those financially able to buy a team. Once you’re in as a NFL owner you have a easy path to future riches. All those brain cells you used to become wealthy, all the risks you took competing against other bright, energetic, ruthless people aren’t needed in the NFL. Oh sure you could do that if you really wanted to win playoffs and compete for a SB.
So the NFL has the Brown family who essentially are hereditary owners from an NFL icon. They don’t deserve it, shouldn’t be in it, others could do far better with the team but there is no economic pain to force the Browns out.
Where would Mike Brown move the team? Another no brainer decision for him in 7 years time, find a city to shower more riches on his family.

Ding Ding Ding. Guess what nothing has changed in thirty years. When Mikes cash cow drys up here he will fold up his tents and move somewhere else and fleece another willing city.

I just doubt they'll move as the stadium will be what 30 years old? It's not like they'd need a new one again.

Maybe they'll move to Mexico City? That would be great!

Riverfront opened in 1970 and was replaced in 2000. If the fans go into full revolt and refuse to buy tickets just watch them run off in the middle of the night. The league would be hard pressed to stop them if the city refuses to attend games.

The cartel would make Mikey a deal he couldn't refuse.

Ineptitude on Mike and Family scale is usually met with a vat of acid, a severed head, or multiple bullets in cartel land. Mexican sporting fans are also far less tolerant, and far more belligerent. The bright side of transfer to Mexican ownership would be increased player motivation...

There are 2 5 year extensions. I assume those will be done.
There is a relocation fee that's upwards of $700 million. I doubt the Browns pay that...and I doubt a city wants them bad enough to pay that for them.
We're legit the worst ran franchise in sports.

No we are not.
Browns have zero playoffs and one winning season in the last 16 years.
Raiders have one winning season in last 16 years.
Bills have one playoff in last 20 years. Only 2 winning seasons in last 14 years.
Dolphins have one winning season in last 10 years.
Jaguars have one one winning season in last 11 years.
Redskins only have 2 winning seasons in last 11 years.
Bucs have no playoffs in last 11 years.
And that is just in the NFL. There are also MLB and NBA teams that have been worse than the Bengals over the last decade.

Over the tenure of Mike Brown’s reign all the franchises you listed save the Browns have better overall records than the Bengals, and all have Playoff wins more recently than Cincy. In other words, all are more successful than the Bengals since Mike took the helm 28+ years ago. The Bengals are legitimately the worst run professional sports franchise since Mike took over. My sig gives you all the details. Mike is basically Donald Sterling bad. The last ten years only paper over the ineptitude that is Mike Brown.
