AFC Divisional Round: Titans @ Ravens Game Day Thread
#21
Interesting game. Rats lead in time of possession but personal fouls (and pretty blatant ones), turnovers and passing inaccuracy plus opportunistic Titan offense result in the Titans being up 21-6.

So far this has been good play calling and coaching by the Titans. The Ravens high powered offense has been stymied so far.

Rashan Evans is my comparison to Germaine Pratt.

Dean Pees, the Titans’ defensive coordinator, has finally found a way to limit Lamar Jackson’s ability to run by using two rush schemes. The first is with the defensive front with the linebackers or cornerbacks following a couple seconds later. The rush comes in two waves and the Ravens’ offensive line can’t handle it. The Tennessee defense is being gashed through the air though — but, even so, it’s going to be enough to put the Titans in the AFC Championship.

Three turnovers from Lamar Jackson. They are scheming to take away his runs and make him throw.

The way Lamar Jackson had played in his two career postseason games so far... are we sure Marvin Lewis hasn't been kidnapping John Harbaugh and pretending to be him during the playoffs?

Postseason Career So Far (7 quarters):
32-64 (50%)
413 yards (6.45 YPA)
2 TD/3 INT (both TD with less than 10 minutes left in a 23-3 game)
4 Fumbles/2 Lost Fumbles

OOF

Has everything to do with holding the #1 offense to 6 points through 3 quarters and change.

The Ravens are a rushing team if you can score early and force them to throw you can win.
