Burrow "unapologetically himself"

That's the thing. I don't know if that was limited to just Marvin, or if it was an organizational thing.

He loved him.

If you say so. Marvin dumped all over Chad in his episode of "a football life". Everything he said about Chad came with an extreme degree of salt. All negative, zero positive. He kinda sounded resentful, frankly. Not to mention how he treated Chad behind the scenes, replacing his list with a dumb list about practice.

It's possible he said some nice things that were clipped out (who knows with documentaries), but the picture that was painted made Marv look pretty spiteful, and intolerant of Chad's methods of gaining extra motivation. Marv treated his football team like it was a military unit, where everyone had to strictly conform and not be different in any way.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

Lets just hope this culture change is happening everywhere including the Org then.

Don't think it is a coincidence that Chad is being such a loyal Bengal now that Marv is gone honestly.

I don't remember Chad voicing his opinion this much about the Bengals when Marv was coach.

No one can blame Marvin for being hard on Chad.  Chad quit on the Bengals after the '07 season.  Every coach, fan, and player should be pissed at him for that.

The stunts that Chad pulled are contrary to what almost all coaches try to instill in their team, yet Marvin let him get away with a lot of shit.

How many New England Patriot players have worn "FUTURE HALL OF FAME" jackets on the sidelines during games?  If Burrow breaks one out I hope Zac puts a stop to it.
