So maybe at worst cracks in the kneecap that would count as a small fracture?
I could easily see that being 4-6 weeks which would put him around week 3 as a go
Week 2 if he heals well
Week 1 if his pain tolerance is on point

If it is a bone bruise that can be an extremely debilitating injury especially in the knee joint. Hopefully, it s just a standard hematoma

#1) Because you have to resod it after every rain game, then the sod gives way and comes up in clumps for a month or so while trying to play on it. That causes even more injuries.

He's going to be missed more on punt returns that he is as a WR, even though they say he has improved greatly. Big opportunity for someone to step up and take the PR spot.

Don't remember the specifics, but I think it had something to do with the foundation being too loose and drainage problems. But I may be totally incorrect.
It was not good though. The field surface fell apart too easiliy

Kneecaps are cartilage, not bone. With kneecaps you get bruises and tears. In this case it sounds liek a bruise or deep bruise, especially if he walked off on it with a limp.

In the old days they had these little pads that went into sleeves inside of the football pants, to protect the knee caps from that sort of thing.

It probably wouldn't have helped much. Running with much speed at all and colliding knees with each other will have enough force to do damage. Those things are thin.

From what I recall, it has something to do with the water table since the stadium is so close to the river. It's the same issue Pittsburgh has with the mess they call a field.

I actually didn't like the move from Ted. He just kind of did the big man move of I'm gonna drop all my weight on you. Which I think can lead to unexpected injuries. But luckily no one got injured.
