The Nfl is a copy cat league. Most teams copy what makes other teams successful. Mike Brown ought to learn from his mistakes but he also ought to notice no other teams are copying his philosophy.

Could it possibly be their defense and their offensive line are so good it doesn’t matter who the skill players are? YES

Why haven’t the Bengals learned anything from this after going 0-10 against the Steelers since 2015? BECAUSE THEY'RE STUPID

Answers in bold.

It's a point i made in another thread. The Steelers have good D and Oline but are around .500 because of QB play.

The Ravens have good D and Oline but are 9-2 because of QB play.

Let's see how they finish first. About the same time last year the Bengals were 5-3 coming off the bye and in position for the Wild Card with a favorable run-in.

Feels like a life time ago.

You know who invented that depressing trombone sound used on old game shows when contestants lost? Mike Brown..  He probably has one lone Youtube video on a continuous loop in his home and office..

The quality of coaches and players is WAY MORE INFERIOR, add to that LOW MORALE and you have a LOSING TEAM.

Indeed.

Look no farther than practice facilities. The Steelers have an entire facility. 4 outdoor fields and a couple big indoor portions.

The Bengals practice on fields under a bridge.

The Steelers have many more player personnel staff than us.

One team is a mom and pop shop essentially. The other is Amazon.

Legit, I've detoxed from the Bengals for the past few days...and I'm honestly coming to the conclusion that following this team and spending this much time on the board is pointless. We can debate moves they SHOULD make all we want...but they likely won't change.

Mike Brown isn't you can take that to the bank.

Indeed. Which is why it makes little sense to follow this team.

We're legit the people from the 1990's that owned Enron stock and kept looking at the newspaper every week hoping the price would go up.

Basically all but 3-4 teams have won 5 playoff games since we last won 1. So those fanbases experienced some playoff wins. We're legit hoping for 1-2 wins of regular season games.

It is sad that some people love playing the victim so much that they ignore reality so they can continue to live in the 90's

Bengals 1991-2002...….. Zero winning seasons. Dead last in wining percentage among all teams that existed for that entire era.
Bengals 2003-present.... Top half of league in winning percentage.  Top 10 in playoff seasons.

The Bengals still have not won a Super Bowl since the start of the nineties but neither has over half of the teams in the league.  We have not won the ultimate prize, but anyone who claims that NOTHING HAS CHANGED is just going through mental gymnastics in order to glorify his victim status.

RE: Tell Me Why... - reuben.ahmed - 12-02-2019

Once upon a time everything clicked on our team and Andy Dalton was the one holding us back. Now nothing clicks and Andy Dalton is the one holding us up for air.

Superbowl or not, we haven't won a single playoff game in many of our fans lifetime. To them, nothing has changed. It's like golf, you don't win 1st place, you're a perennial phil mickelson. Or worse, simply a no namer. Nobody remembers 3rd place, and most don't even remember 2nd.
