Like Fred said, you can't judge a draft class after just the first season.
Hopefully, it's not a serious hip injury with Wren? Hip injuries can be a big problem for a large man. That's a lot of weight and gravity working against him. He has tools, but disappointed this season. He was a stud at ASU, not so much at NFL. He could still shine though. He's young.
I think Pratt can produce, just needs a veteran to learn from, and more talent around him at his position.
Jordan should only improve! One of the young RBs should stick. Sucks about Anderersons injuries.
Not a wasted draft by any means, but certainly had a few head scratchers??

Obviously your sources have no credibility because they had you wanting us to take a 5th round talent (Mack Wilson) at #42.

Draft is so hard to predict.
Even with 2 linebackers in the top 10 last year the best linebacker of the class has been Bobby Okereke Colts drafted in round 3.

Well man, we'll just have to agree to have different opinions on this matter. I see some guys that can be solid NFL starters in that draft, with at least two with the potential to be good to very good starters. The thing is, you're not supposed to be counting on a barely 20 year old Guard prospect, drafted in the 4th round, to be starter material as a rookie. The same goes with Wren, a mid round pick like him is to develop for a couple years. The 6th round RBs were both crap shoots, I'm betting that at least one of them pans out.
Obviously, it was much too early to throw Finley out in live NFL action, but as a 4th round selection, he still got some development. He showed promise in preseason, he's likely going to be a career backup. But, with Pratt, you might want to take a closer look. The guy is making some plays, showing some of that speed, and is learning on his feet. Is he a superstar yet? Hell no. Do I think he's a keeper, worth watching him develop? Hell yes.

With the team being so secretive about injury information divulging, it's tough to know exactly what the problem is with Wren's hip. We don't know if it's just a muscle issue, or if it's the actual joint itself.
I think that Pratt is going to be alright. In what limited viewing opportunities I've had this season, I've noticed him flashing that speed, and making plays that nobody seems to want to talk about. He's legit, just not a 1st round "instant game changer" type of player. As soon as they get another talented LB to put next to him, he's going to look 100% better.

Honestly I'm looking forward to Drew Sample year 2. Offenses are going more to 11 personnel so a guy like Sample can be a huge part of the offense.

It takes 3 years to evaluate a draft. There are plenty of past drafts that can be evaluated. 2013 is the last draft where we landed a Pro Bowl player in Eifert.
Go ahead and criticize how Pro Bowls mean nothing...but generally the better players make Pro Bowls.

Well they obviously don’t mean “nothing” you’re not a scrub if you go to a PB, but really good players get snubbed all the time. Case and point...Mixon and Boyd.

To do a true evaluation, it takes time, true, but to say it is off to a horrible start is pretty accurate. Drafting a day one starter who has a great rookie year, then long consistent career is ideal. Sure, there are some that are under used, injured or don't impress their rookie year then get to be superstars, but I'd say strike one happens a lot in Cincy.
