Yep and fastest time in 40 and then bombed in the NFL.

I care about his NFL production, kids college days are over now

Oof.

I'm not a big fan, but won't declare the kid's career over before it starts.

I mean, what the hell, Stewart's the least popular Bengals draft day pick since Ja'Marr Chase.  I think that worked out ok.

My girl thought the same about me, but needless to say she’s disappointed.

Hunt's big deal was that he was a 3-4 player when we ran a heavily-structured 4-3 and he was 26 or whatever

No surprise there, I don't even k ow you why bother posting on here.

Hunt had some good years in Indy if my memory serves me.  They played him at bear or something like that.  He was similar to Billings he took forever to incubate.  They just do the same exact thing over and over again and wonder why they can't win a Super Bowl even after tanking for top end talent two years in a row.  I remember a lot of Bills fans who reacted to Josh Allen in a similar way...but at least Allen had something to hang his hat on.  This guy has the second to worst individual run stop rate ever recorded in college ball.  He misses 23.5% of his tackles against college scrub-a-dubs.  Guys like this almost always bust.  At best they come on after a looooong incubation period.  It looks like Billy Price all over again.  I'd say I can't believe it but I believe it.  The guy is objectively so bad at playing football.

Trash franchise completely unserious about winning.

A team desperate for day one help on defense takes the biggest project in the entire draft. And Trey’s situation remains unsettled.

The Cardinals did them a huge favor by taking Nolen, because now no one can say they passed over him when he becomes a star. They were taking Stewart. Period.

I’d say I can’t believe it, but it’s what we all expected.

Spot on

Bengals fell in love with his RAS score, only they forgot they don't know how to develop.

I just don't draw the correlation between a guy who was productive in college and one that wasn't.

39 pressures is a positive right? I mean yea he isn't finishing but it seems he can get pressure on the QB.

Some coaching and maybe he gets to the QB more consistently.

Half the board loved chase. Not sure what you’re talking about.

It’s only April and the bengal are already ruining my mood.

Not even close.

WRs arent nearly as important as pass rush when it comes to winning football games. To pick a WR in the top 10 he BETTER be a “cant miss” guy (calvin johnson, aj green, julio, Jamarr) i knew john ross was a bust the second we drafted him.

Im willing to give our new DE a little time before i call him a bust

We'll see how good Jerry Montgomery is with this one, that's for sure.

So we got a guy that's LESS productive than Hunt.  Plus Hunt would 'almost' get to the QB only to be dodged by said QB and make the play while Hunt just stood there.  At least Hunt was a 2nd rounder.  Not big on this guy at all.

That.....is actually factually true. Although Hutchinson was hurt his Junior year. But regardless, it's not a bad point. His tackled and TFL are still awful though.

How does he finish. His QB hits put him in the bottom 3 percent. He has the lowest run stop rate in the class. I mean I know people were projecting him to us. But how are we this bad. The OL run was happening just take the best one you like. Take Starks. You can't take someone with that bad of production.

Yes bengals are all good at coaching and developing. This is worse than Myles Murphy pick and that’s hard to do. Billy price was worse, I’ll give the bengals that.

Any of our competition afraid of who we just drafted? Don’t think so.

Newsflash, new coaches on the DL and all across the Defense. I don't like the Shemar Stewart pick either but we need to live in reality.

The ones who failed to develop Murphy and the rest are gone.

Maybe I'm just in a good mood tonight but we do have quite a few changes on the defensive staff so I say let's see what happens.

Good physical traits and good amount of pressures when asked to rush the QB.

He's a Bengal now so I'll be rooting for him.
