They could get a talented WR to help out Burrow and maybe a starter in LB. Still a lot of holes but it is a start. Burrow is being compared to Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Neither had rocket arms but make good decisions, are gritty players and cerebral.
Could you imagine the backlash from fans if the Bengals neglected defense this year in the draft given how abysmal they've been the past two seasons?
I think the only way you could sell that approach to the fans is if the Bengals were active in FA for defense.

This has never happened, at least with quality players. Maybe they could get a starter at backer and get Littleton.

True, but i like the way he scans the field, moves in the pocket, has esacpability and different throwing angles.
He definitely looks unorthodox on a lot of throws but he's not dropping back in a clean pocket and throwing to a bunch of 1st option open receivers.

Is that completions per attempted screens or completions per total attempts of all passes? In other words, Burrow only completed 10% of 31 attempted screen plays?

31 of Burrow's 314 completions were on screens. 10%.

What we need is a graphic on down field throws accuracy I believe Burrow's is quite high something like 71%. It is crazy how good he is with all of his throws.

So Herbert may have a cannon arm but his accuracy is inflated by high number of screen passes. Sounds like a Bengal pick to me.

Yes, that is the takeaway. His accuracy drops to 59.6% on all passes that aren't screens which is like 15 in the power 5 so good, but not as impressive as his 67.5% completion percentage.

Looks like if Jordan Love doesn't get a favorable draft grade he is considering a grad transfer.
If he doesn't enter the NFL Draft, Utah State QB Jordan Love is contemplating a grad transfer, per source. Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Houston all possible destinations. No decision made. NFL Draft grade will weigh heavily.

I would expect/hope it's a team with an aging starter who may have a year or two to groom Love.
Chargers, Steelers, or Saints maybe?

Chargers would be a great fit for this type of QB. I know he is raw but has potential. Just too inaccurate for the Bengals team.
