Can't call it that when were weren't eliminated. How is that any different? We were 4-8 and climbed to 9-8. I will say, it made the end of season actually enjoyable to root for a slim chance of the playoffs. But Iwas vocal about losing out for a better draft position. 9-8 and missing the playoffs is honestly about the worst outcome for a season. RE: Bengals eliminated from the playoffs - chopperbobby - 01-05-2025 Winning one of the first two games would have changed everything. How the hell does New England beat us Defense was a train wreck. Lot to fix but we will be shelling out money for offense . Or offense looks different without Tee H. Not close to being as good with out him.. Absolutely no faith in FO to even start to fix this dumpster fire. Need more scouts to fix out terrible drafting and free agency. Who day we are 0 and 0 now soon to be 0 and 2 then we can start our season RE: Bengals eliminated from the playoffs - Trademark - 01-06-2025 It's remarkable how the Rams are back in the playoffs with a retooled roster RE: Bengals eliminated from the playoffs - Nicomo Cosca - 01-06-2025 (01-06-2025, 12:56 AM)Trademark Wrote: It's remarkable how the Rams are back in the playoffs with a retooled roster Good coach. RE: Bengals eliminated from the playoffs - Sled21 - 01-07-2025 Old Fat Andy is catching it, and not just from Cincinnati. Some are actually calling what he did illegal due to legalized gambling. While I don't think it rises to that level, it does raise some questions and I wonder if the league will address it. At some point, the NFL owes the ticket buyers a real game that they purchased to attend and television networks that buy the rights to a quality product as well. A lopsided game is one thing, throwing the match is something else entirely. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/andy-reid-faces-backlash-for-eliminating-bengals-and-dolphins-with-chiefs-0-points/ar-AA1x3llT?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=531810efc7b74771b8d4ecd029f4b674&ei=13 Quote:Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is facing backlash after the Cincinnati Bengals were knocked out of playoff contention following the defending champions' scoreless defeat to the Denver Broncos. It really came down to one game because the Chiefs only had one loss. If they hadn't lost at all they probably play to stay undeafeted and if they had 2 losses they would've had to play to stay ahead of the Bills. Though again, the idea of the NFL specifically punishing a 15-2 team for not trying to win is just crazy enough to work. |
