I get that the FO made mistakes. The FA's were poor. The bumbled yet another long term deal for a star player. And coaching changes need to be made.

But the idea that a wholesale tear it all up from the top down, entire org rebuild needs to take place for the Bengals to get back to the top of the AFCN & beat the big dogs is out of touch and just grown ass men being in their feelings.

All of us are disappointed in the 2024 Bengals. All of us should expect changes. I, for one, would be excited to see a new O Line coach, nearly entire defensive staff, and (honestly) a new voice in the ST room as well. Throw in a lot of heavy handed evaluation of how the Bengals are drafting and I can buy it all... But, Mike Vrabel? Mike Brown's the problem? Certainly not on the field.....

THE BENGALS PLAYERS bungled those games away. Not Mike Brown. Not ZT. Those 2 didn't fumble against KC or the Ravens. Those 2 didn't miss gimme extra points and FGs to win games. Those 2 didn't drop touch downs that would have won games. Duke Tobin didn't commit a senseless DPI to give a game to KC.

THE PLAYERS DID ALL OF THAT.

Bengals have some great players who have (way) more production than many of these HOF guys, but those guys get credit for being on Super Bowl winning teams.

All-Pro and/or Pro Bowl-caliber should be the better gauge of hitting on draft picks.

Have they really "hit" on any early draft pick in the Taylor era aside from Burrow, Chase, and Higgins?

This comes down to proper scouting and arguably being able to either mold that player into the team scheme or adapt the scheme around said player.
I personally think the Bengals have had some decent draft picks who didn't pan out because of poor coaching.

The glaze of the Super Bowl appearance is wearing off. The once-in-a-franchise-lifetime quarterback appears to be agitated.

We've all bought into the narrative of them trying to retain Tee and Ja'marr. Why? Because Joe wants it? What does the family think?

At the end of the day, the old man will have the final say. We assume that he won't alienate another all-time-franchise great in Chase by offering another lame-ass extension. Everyone assumes that things are different. We assume he will somehow bow to Joe and do his bidding. I think that this belief is misinformed.

Even if he did do as Joe suggests, is that even appropriate? Maybe we need a defense more than we need to keep the band together.

Lots of moving parts and volatility here. The upside is that we have 2 top 10 players in the league on the roster. Probably the best qb in the league. Best receiver hands down. Those things should be advantages. Somehow, the team has manages to makes them potential obstacles.

They have to stick the landing in 25. If they don't, it will never happen for us. If we don't win it with Burrow, we never will. Screwing this era of Bengals football up is going to be fatal to the organization's tenure in Cincinnati.

It's time for the family to show that's it's serious. This offseason will tell us absolutely everything we need to know about the future of the Bengals in Cincinnati.
