Stop the ball carrier using force (the F in W x H =F). But they usually don't get a running start. It's usually an explosion from a stationary position, Let's just drop this one and you can take solace in the fact that you impressed Toast with your science. RE: Mike Daniels expected to sign with the Bengals - Sled21 - 08-11-2020 Can't we just say that's a pretty impressive leap for a big man? RE: Mike Daniels expected to sign with the Bengals - fredtoast - 08-11-2020 I hate to beat a dead horse, but I also hate to listen to snark from a person who has no idea what he is taking about. There is little load on the foot during a leap because the thigh muscles already have the body weight moving before the foot even flexes. A leap is nothing like the force of a constant load. If you don't believe me then just check out the difference between jumping 10 times and doing a set of ten calf raises with your full body weight. And he did not leap 44 inches. He jumped a couple of feet and the rest of the distance was him just bending his knees to raise his feet. RE: Mike Daniels expected to sign with the Bengals - Sled21 - 08-11-2020 Ok, I'm sold, not impressive at all..... That clears the needed roster spot for Daniels to be signed RE: Mike Daniels expected to sign with the Bengals - bfine32 - 08-11-2020 (08-11-2020, 04:26 PM)Truck_1_0_1_ Wrote: Bengals SI Guy. I thought Clark had a shot. At least he was a DT too. Maybe did that because we could be looking at CB now RE: Mike Daniels expected to sign with the Bengals - pally - 08-11-2020 (08-11-2020, 06:31 PM)NATI BENGALS Wrote: Wtf.
