We also haven't seen anything that indicates he's running wrong routes or not running them hard.  He didn't do either in preseason.  He looked like what you'd expect would happen if you put Chase or Tee out there against scrubs in the 4th quarter of a preseason game.

I get there's obvious maturity issues, but are we hurting the other 52 guys on the team by burying him on the depth chart to try and teach him tough love?  I mean, Antonio Brown was always late for meetings and a PoS human being.  He still balled out.

If the offense was humming, it's a non issue, but Faux-Shi, Chuck Drizzle, and Turd-win played like trash on Sunday.

To be clear, my comment regarding Burton being the 2nd best WR is in regards to those that played in the game.  Tee is obviously our #2.  Im hoping Burton will be head and shoulders above the rest.

And yeah, I'm tired of Zac Taylor not playing rookies. Play your damn rookie. They don't get better on the sideline, he's just delaying it.

Rookies are unpredictable and teams aren't as ready to defend or prepare for them.

I'm annoyed with Zac, take responsibility in your losses. You are paid way too much to just sit there. Frankly, I expect no family life from him. lol

It's the message board mentality that you can always get skill position guys on Day 3 of the draft.

Of course, we haven't drafted a quality starting WR on Day 3 since Marvin Jones or RB since Rudi Johnson.  Folks keep right on believing that narrative, though.

Occasionally, you get lucky.  95% of the time, you get a few years of cheap depth.

Sucks, but can never rely on Tee being healthy with hamstring issues. This is why I was never for extending him for a lot of dough.

Most important ability is availability and hamstring issues tend to linger. Get Jermaine Burton out there for more than 4 snaps and target
Chase a ton in this game and we might be able to resurrect the passing game.

Slamming the FO for not paying TEE should now be off the table.

I assure you my scoffing at the FO is due to them insisting on sitting upon and tagging a #2 WR with these issues when there are desperate (as in, can lose their jobs since they don't own the team) GMs out there who are forced to view him as an instant #1 WR who can save their jobs.

Way too early to be writing Tee off.  He could still come back and have an excellent season.

Our FO had three options.
1) Pay him
2) Trade him
3) Let him play it out.

Maybe him missing two games makes you think it validates the argument for why they shouldn't have paid them, but doesn't that make the decision to not trade him and let him play it out look that much worse?

He could, and we would need him to this season, but he can't be trusted going forward, and thus not as a future foundational piece.

I've been said their mistake was not selling high given what they had to know about his chronic hamstring injury.... So I agree with you there.

Had a chance to trade him for a 1st + more two offseasons ago when it was clear he was going to be the odd man out in getting paid between Burrow, Chase, and Tee. We could have used that 1st to have Zay Flowers, Jordan Addison, Dalton Kincaid, or Sam LaPorta on a rookie contract. Or two of them on rookie contracts if we didn't use our 1st on a backup DE in Myles "only bad teams have to draft for need" Murphy.

We're all certainly hoping that he does, but the hamstring injury is turning into somewhat of a chronic issue.

Speaking of Murphy, the Murphy pick hurt more given what we saw and have seen out of a dominant Keion White. Although to be fair I thought media was overrating his "talent" some leading up to the draft.
