Come on! The deals practically scream themselves out. Trade the Giants for Ojulari and sign McKinnon. or trade for Devin Singletary.

RE: Sitting on our hands as usual - Tomcat - 11-04-2024

Ojulari, Lattimore and a Vet RB would be nice. Won't happen, but would be nice!

RE: Sitting on our hands as usual - SladeX - 11-05-2024

The Chiefs are 8-0, and went and got Hopkins and Hunt (earlier).

Heaven forbid we do something like this.

The Chiefs are very similar to us in terms of market size and family ownership, right? So I don’t want to hear the excuses…

Russini is still reporting the team is actively negotiating. Her source is someone from the other team

We traded for HB Khalil Herbert....Not a bad start

Trade comp is a 2025 7th

7th round pick. I remember there was some trade chatter about Herbert to the Bengals before the season too.

RE: Sitting on our hands as usual - Au165 - 11-05-2024

As a sign of the teams willingness to try and make moves this is a good start. They could have just signed someone off the street but went and got a better option. I think we still see one more trade today by the Bengals.

RE: Sitting on our hands as usual - WeezyBengal - 11-05-2024

I think they gave up too much for him. A 7th is steep compared to what everyone else is trading for quality guys. I mean he has taken literally 27 snaps all year. Wtf?

He's a more athletic Zach Moss but he can't stay healthy. Hopefully he can produce for us. Here's his PFF page for career and games played this year:

Not too bad, from what I was reading he's got a career 4.8/ypc and is thought of as a willing pass blocker.

RE: Sitting on our hands as usual - Synric - 11-05-2024

No Offense too Khalil Herbert who is a solid pick up considering the now massive need but the Bengals put themselves in this situation by RESIGNING Trayveon Williams who they knew was not an NFL caliber running back and putting him 3rd on the depth chart.

RE: Sitting on our hands as usual - WeezyBengal - 11-05-2024

Let's keep going.

I'd love to trade for either a CB or an interior or edge DL that has more than just this year left on their contract. I'd be willing to give up some substantial draft capital. Let's build for this year and the upcoming years.

I did not understand keeping him around at all.

Absolute nothing. This is what makes it hard to root for this team. They don’t even try. Their drafting has been awful so why act like these 2nd-7th round picks are gold? It’s pathetic. Mike Brown is a pathetic human being. I hope fans stop renewing season tickets. They don’t deserve us.

As usual, someone jumps the gun and shits on another human being that they have never met, looking like an ass in the process.

Rolleyes really?

I mean, what did you want them to trade, a piece of turf cut out from the old turf that was ripped out?

It's a low 7th, literally the bare minimum you can use to trade in the NFL.

RE: Sitting on our hands as usual - BFritz21 - 11-05-2024

Still holding out hope on Chase Young.

The Saints might be holding out to get the best offer.

RE: Sitting on our hands as usual - Essex Johnson - 11-05-2024

Well we did not sit on hands, nice Vet and added depth and another weapon for Burrow .

RE: Sitting on our hands as usual - Au165 - 11-05-2024

Just reported Giants want a late 4th or high 5th for Ojulari which is holding up a lot of teams. I am in agreement, I think our 5th should be sufficient based on ZaDarious SMith's trade. Seems like he is one domino holding up some others from falling.

I wonder if they could structure the deal as conditional on him re-signing. If so, I'd do the 4th if we get him to re-sign.

A 5th for Ojulari would also be good value for what we need. Let's do it. Mellow

Steelers just added Mike Williams so the arms race is on a bit.
