he or she is potentially immortal
he or she survives on the blood of others
he or she has the strength of twenty men
he or she can shape-shift into the form of a wolf or a bat
he or she can appear as mist or elemental dust
he or she has no reflection in a mirror
he or she casts no shadow
he or she has hypnotic power over his victims
he or she can turn victims into vampires
But on the other hand, he does have limitations:
he or she may not enter a household unless he is invited in
he or she loses his supernatural powers during daylight hours
he or she must sleep on the soil of his native land
he or she can cross running water only at the slack or the flood of the tide
he or she is repelled by garlic and holy symbols (crucifix, holy wafer)
he or she can be destroyed by driving a stake through his heart and decapitating him

Vampires die in the sunlight not like those twilight movies.
I would date a vampire if they made me a vampire.
And as far as dying by stake to the heart or decapitation that applys to everyone lol
