Longest Tenured Bengal - Bengalbug - 07-31-2025 Without looking it up, can you name the longest tenured Bengal? Mike Brown :) RE: Longest Tenured Bengal - Isaac Curtis: The Real #85 - 07-31-2025 I would guess Drew Sample. Taylor's first draft class. RE: Longest Tenured Bengal - PhilHos - 07-31-2025 My guess is Logan Wilson. Can't remember when he was drafted but it feels like he's been here longer than everyone else. RE: Longest Tenured Bengal - schroomytunes - 07-31-2025 It was Sam, so going back to zac's 1st draft class (2019) Sample was a 2nd rd pick after Jonah, with Pratt released it makes Sample the longest followed by JoeyB! RE: Longest Tenured Bengal - Bengalbug - 07-31-2025 Those who said sample are correct… that’s just wild to me. That really shows the inability in recent history to draft/develop players. RE: Longest Tenured Bengal - Nate (formerly eliminate08) - 07-31-2025 Yep, Drew is the longest tenured. BTW, I like the dude at H-back. The addition of Noah Fant allows this to happen more often as well and help protect Joe in the backfield with a big pass protector. I like our RB's in pass protection better this year as well, we can do a lot of things on Offense with the Fant addition. I'm too tired for research today but it would be interesting to look up teams and the percentage of drafted players they have going into their 7th+ season with the team. As far as how time flies it does seem to me it was just a few years ago that the Sample pick was so controversial. RE: Longest Tenured Bengal - Nicomo Cosca - 07-31-2025 Should be Bates. ![]() RE: Longest Tenured Bengal - Bengalbug - 07-31-2025 (07-31-2025, 02:14 PM)George Cantstandya Wrote: I'm too tired for research today but it would be interesting to look up teams and the percentage of drafted players they have going into their 7th+ season with the team. Only 3 teams have shorter “longest” tenured players. Joe, Chase, Tee, and Logan are all gonna be here a while. Rehkow, too, by the looks of it. We turned over all our ST guys recently. I like the vibes I am getting from Camp this year on both sides of the ball. Much more intense all the way around and you can see the coaches working with players as well as players like Trey working with Shemar etc. Logan and Demetrius already seem to be on the same page at Linebacker... I assert only 2 were released due to not developing: (Carman/Carter) We could argue Jonah RE: Longest Tenured Bengal - jason - 07-31-2025 (07-31-2025, 02:14 PM)Nicomo Cosca Wrote: Should be Bates. Yeah... Looking back it's ridiculous he isn't still in Cincinnati. That was a Marvin era player too. Wouldn't surprise me, already looks like a stud in camp. ![]() |
