Without looking it up, can you name the longest tenured Bengal?

I would guess Drew Sample. Taylor's first draft class.

My guess is Logan Wilson. Can't remember when he was drafted but it feels like he's been here longer than everyone else.

It was Sam, so going back to zac's 1st draft class (2019) Sample was a 2nd rd pick after Jonah, with Pratt released it makes Sample the longest followed by JoeyB!

Those who said sample are correct… that’s just wild to me. That really shows the inability in recent history to draft/develop players.

Yep, Drew is the longest tenured. BTW, I like the dude at H-back. The addition of Noah Fant allows this to happen more often as well and
help protect Joe in the backfield with a big pass protector. I like our RB's in pass protection better this year as well, we can do a lot of things on Offense with the Fant addition.

I'm too tired for research today but it would be interesting to look up teams and the percentage of drafted players they have going into their 7th+ season with the team. As far as how time flies it does seem to me it was just a few years ago that the Sample pick was so controversial. ![]() ![]()

Just have to be able to coach up the youth, something the coaches fired could not do. I like the vibes I am getting from Camp this year on both sides of the ball. Much more intense all the way around and you can see the coaches working with players as well as players like Trey working with Shemar etc. Logan and Demetrius already seem to be on the same page at Linebacker...

IDK how "fair" that is to our current regime. Since Zac has been here (2019) we've had 22 picks in the 1st 3 rounds. I assert only 2 were released due to not developing: (Carman/Carter) We could argue Jonah ![]()

I literally shook my head "anytime you want to meet for lunch and or drinks..or both..my treat ..we can compare degrees . In addition to getting an MBA/MHA from Xavier I also obtained an Masters in Public Health from the Chan School of Public Health ( Harvard) and I doubt very seriously that your educational background can match that.." - ERIC1
