Hopefully they bring Daniels back. He seemed to have liked it here. Covington too. It seemed he was retweeting the futile crusade to recruit Watt a few weeks ago. Not sure with Toupou and Wren slated to return, if they’re in the plans.

Yeah, Daniels was a leader the moment he stepped onto the field. He moves o-linemen around in the running game. Geno is a great pass rusher but he's not a good run defender at all. Daniels was an upgrade in that regard.

Fair enough. But at the bottom of the list. For me at least. For better or worse, Taylor does not value TEs.

We also have Schreck. We have 3 TEs who all have multiple years with the team. Yes, we lost Carter and CJ is coming off an injury. Sample started all last year and was not horrible, though pass catching is not his strength.

I just think by the time we get done addressing the other more pressibg needs (WR1, deep threat, OL), any TE worth drafting won't be any better than what we've got. Though Pitts is a possibility. 

I could also see us holding some $$ back and waiting till after the draft. Could be a new round of cuts and it would let us evaluate CJs recovery better.
