At least Eifert had the promise of being an elite redzone target when healthy. Waynes is just an okay CB when healthy.

Not to sound cliche, but hamstring injuries are like that. They don't really heal, as long as you try to keep using them to their fullest. It's sad, as the Bengals are going to have nearly $30M invested into this guy over the past two seasons, with literally nothing to show for it..

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Can the team not just release him..
Not sure of his contract and what was guaranteed..
it almost seems like he doesnt want to work in Cincy and possibly play in the Nfl anymore
I dunno..Pure speculation on my part

We have a potential out after this season. It will cost 5 mil in dead cap. We’ll see how the rest of the season goes, but at this point the team has to at least be considering it.

And I hope we draft a CB in the first couple rounds this year regardless what happens.

Thanks for reply
Dead Cap means??
and if they did opt out in the offseason would you know what in total he made from this franchise.. Roughly?

Talk about the perfect storm for Mr Waynes..

Doesn’t want to face his ol buddy Rodgers…

Honestly I think the dude has just had terrible luck.

It’s always weird how some people act as if a guys body giving out on him is somehow his fault. Like I’m sure when he signed his contract he wasn’t sitting around hoping he wouldn’t get to play football anymore. He probably planned to play another 5-7 years and get another contract along the way.

It was a bad signing but not like he had a degenerative knee injury…

I was referring to injuries keeping him off the field.

I don't care what kind of elite athlete you are. If you're not on the field what difference does it make?!?!  Cool

You're right. Eifert at least made it in for a few games!

I don't care how good you are, if you can't play, it's a moot point.

It all started with Greg Cook.

Being fragile doesn't make someone a bozo. I get your frustration, but fragility is not a character flaw. He is probably more frustrated by his body than anyone on this board.
