IDk, there's a chance he could be a #2 somewhere.

The final 3 plays Karras and Cappa collapsed the pocket and didn't give Burrow a throw to step into which is what killed our final drive. Some were blaming Burrow just wanted to clarify Burrow didn't have a clean pocket to step into a throw on final 3 plays.

This was 100% on Burrow.

all 22 provided a different viewpoint did he think chase brown was going to get first down? but all 3 final plays Karras Cappa caused right side of pocket collapse that hindered Burrow's ability to step into a long throw.

That is concerning. Joe needs to step into that pocket and give Ja'Marr a chance on that play for sure.

I think Chase goes for a long TD there.

FWIW the only way we were winning yesterday is if we took a lead with under a minute too play. Even if Burrow hits Chase I still think Pats win on a last second field goal. So even if Burrow connects with Chase for a long TD we still probably lose due to the defense being gassed. With us losing and the way the game had played out up until that point wouldn't have been mad if we went for it on 4th down.

I thought you were basing your collapse comment on the All 22, had it backwards.

It's the one you get when you purchase a lifetime membership to the Joe Burrow fan club.

Better for folks is we can blame play calling and WRs,

Eh, I am as big of a Joe Burrow fan as there is, but that poor play was definitely on him. He was panicking like Dalton used to even when
there was no pressure. Hope this is not some new thing with him, the great thing about Burrow was that he was always pretty fearless.

He does this every year to start or atleast the last 2 years. Always had the injuries we blamed it on but perhaps he just needs time getting game reps.

Probably right, sure hope that is the case and we just need to play Joe and the starters on Offense more in preseason so this doesn't
happen every start of every season.

That was bad QB play. You that’s a clean pocket by NFL standards. Just slide back to the left some and he there’s a great chance at a long completion. Terrible play and makes me concerned for Burrow. Why is he panicking back there? Afraid of getting a scar that will end his runway modeling career? Man up and be strong in the pocket Joey.

I don’t remember him being skittish in the pocket before.

Browning would have played better.

If only they played a few games that didn't really count to get ready for week 1... But yeah; we do make a lot of excuses. Injuries, we're close, bad O line coach, poor communication, bad angles... Maybe we don't have a ton of talent, and we're just not a very good team these last couple of years?
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Considered very good players:

Burrow  (wasnt very good)
Chase
Higgins  (doesnt play)
Hendrickson (one dimensional)

Other players in their position groups and where they are likely rated:

Oline:  Average
RBs:    Low
TEs:    Very Low
Other WRs:  Very Low

DT:  Average
LB:  Good to Average
DB:  Average
Other DEs:  Average to Low

This is not a talented team, thus we must be very good at basic fundamentals and have solid coaching.

I would put Orlando Brown Logan Wilson and maybe Geno Stone on the very good list our P and K are really good as well now

McPherson, no doubt.

Rehkow has played one game, he wasnt on track to make the roster before Robbins was injured.  He could get there for sure.

Wilson had a very down year last season, I think he can regain that form.

Orlando Brown, is good, Im not sure he is considered very good?  He gives up lots of pressures but Im ok with that take.

Geno had a lot of interceptions last season, but he isnt on the very good scale in the NFL.  He misses tackles and the Ravens let him walk for 7M per year.
