Joe Burrow is a top 3 QB in this league no question and with the product the front office is giving him will wear thin over time. He left OSU for an opportunity at a championship and found it at LSU. With the front office's abysmal handling of this team, it will only be a matter of time.
Front Office's inability to:
1) Draft well consistently
2) Stubbornness to adapt to new ways of today's NFL aka guaranteed money for players and closing deals which goes hand in hand in re-signing our superstar players
3)Keeping same coaching staff and not holding them accountable
4) I could go on and on...
My point is don't think Joe isn't seeing this and it will slowly build up on him to the point where he will want out and be somewhere that will give him a chance to be surrounded by a Super Bowl caliber team.
Joe was on fire today and Zac took the play calling out of his hand in OT to run three straight plays and bank on a 50+ FG. As mad as the fans are can you imagine how Joe and the other players that did their job today feel?

If Bengals pay Chase I see this as a non-issue. While I agree with the points you made I think paying Chase will be enough.
That said changes clearly need to be made in order to keep Burrow and Chase happy. We all know the issue... it's up to Mike Brown and his family to make the appropriate decisions to put it lightly.

The Front Office has been a failure for decades.
Thats said, Zac did call a pass play and Burrow DID check out of it to a run.

We have given him a ton on offense, but neglected defense and let's be honest as well as he has played Burrow is 0-2 as a closer this year.. don't you expect him to close 50% of games

It’s not a real discussion point, his contract is not tradeable until 2028 and even then it’s a massive cap hit.if he’s mad he should be mad at himself for committing long term, like it or not he’s stuck here for the rebuild.

I've taken so much BS defending Palmer here and on Twitter. Long time fans know the truth. Of course we dont have the brightest and most informed fanbase.

Once, allegedly, out of the 3 plays. We also don't know what the pass play was designed to do, it could have been one of those patented "throw it to a stationary player behind the LoS" pass plays.

More Burrow hate. Just when I think you cant lose anymore credibility. Is it physically painful to be so uninformed?
The offense has been the best in the league, the defense has been horrendous. Burrow is so far down the list of negative issues that it is embarrassing to even mention him after this game.

Here is the thing, it doesn’t matter.
Let’s assume it was the first play. Okay, you have two more plays to get the first and assume you’ll pass one or two of those after this gets a couple yards. Maybe it’s 2nd down? Okay, you are in a run heavy set which means you may not have more than two guys in the pattern and they are covering it? Cool you still got 3rd. If it’s 3rd and the playcall can’t get you 10 in this look then you’re better off not forcing it than turning it over.
No matter how it’s sliced one check by Burrow didn’t lose it, coming out three times in heavy personnel without all out weapons on the field is what lost it. Even if Burrow wanted to get to a new play he’s limited by the personnel the HC put on the field.

It isnt "allegedly", both Zac and Burrow confirmed the play call.
That said, the 3 runs were not bad calls considering the situation.

Legitimate take. I'll add that if Cappa wasnt getting his ass handed to him all game they might have had more confidence as well.

Let him out. I hope he does. He deserves to succeed somewhere else. If Higgins, Hendrickson, Chase were smart they wouldn't be looking for contracts either, but rather how to get away from this organization as quickly as possible.

Burrow is not going anywhere, anytime soon or far. Enjoy the money, should be able to spend it on vacations in January.

I think the problem was, that the way the plays went on 1st and 2nd basically necessitated a run on 3rd.
I get running on 1st.. we didn't need that much in terms of yardage. Though personally, I'd be spreading the lineup and throwing the ball on 1st. We'd had great success doing so nearly all game. Incomplete pass and you can run it on 2nd... the Ravens might be less likely to stack the box on 2nd & 10. I think we should have lined up wide on at least one play.
It's always hindsight, but 3 run plays when Burrow's been balling out just isn't a good look, especially when the FG you'll be playing for is a LONG one to WIN a game... I expected Mac to make it as well, but it was always miss-able (even with a good hold).

It's so Bengals to mess up the snap and hold. You never see that.

Agreed, look at his stats, he leads the NFL in alot of them and is in top 3 for the rest. Can you imagine what our records since 2020 would be without him?

We have no idea what down that the pass was called. I would guess 2nd down, but who knows?
