No, thinking like me, or thinking like you, or thinking like ANY fan has nothing to do with winning a Super Bowl. It's hilarious how people think anything we say or do determines wins or losses. Unless you are on the field, you do not control the game.

Yeah, we should have paid Bates more than Atlanta did. And, we should have paid Reader more than Detroit did. We should beat every teams offer for every one of our top guys. Man, if there wasn't this cap thing we could be Champions of the world.

The lack of criticism from the public allows the front office to keep them. If people are not showing up and demand change, then they would make a change to keep fans happy.

We have the slowest safety room in the NFL and lacking talent on defense.  That is on Duke.

Even with the lack of talent Lou has to be much better.

If we didnt have pathetic ownership, we should see if Vrabel would come asap and dismiss Lou.  We should see if Mike Borgonzi would accept Duke's job and give him a real scouting department.

But we do have lousy ownership so accountability is not required.

This team has next to zero chance of winning any game this season if we can't put up 35 points+

LOL, you know nothing about the Bengals Front Office history.

Lou needs his guys to meet his design schemes. Losing Reader was big. Not paying Bates was costly. With that said, Duke Tobin has whiffed on several recent signings and the whiff on DL is becoming unsurmountable. The FO needs to put money in draft personnel and grow the draft room department. Maybe look at moving on from Hobby.

Now, that is a good point. We are doomed to watch this futility. Another incredible qb with no results. Next one will come around in 2035 or so.

It's been two seasons since Jessie Bates left... Bengals have signed 2 free agents and had a first round pick to try to fill the spot in that time. It has not worked out and that's a big black eye to a DC that is a long time DB Coach.

While I certainly agree that Lou deserves some blame and is overrated as a DC, I do think it's funny, that every fan on this board said before the game "our game plan needs to be to stop the run, and force Lamar to beat us with his arm".

Then, we essentially shut down the run and Lamar beats us with his arm and folks are blaming Lou for the game plan. Seems like the game plan was correct, we just don't have the players to make it work (get pressure and cover).

Remember when everyone complained they didn't blitz enough? And they still kinda had trouble getting pressure.
