Perhaps he can do a commercial w/ former Bengal RB Elbert Woods and we'll have the Ickey Sticky

I hated the Burton pick when it happened and said Zac can no longer trot out his "culture" line. But sitting JB (we have a lot of those) was a move back in the direction of getting that culture back.

Oh and G-Sticky

Yes, you had to sit him since he missed the walkthrough that is disrespectful to every one of the players and coaches.

Going forward we can use him he is a 3rd round pick. I know Zac has no clue that the Bengals rely on the draft more than other teams do to build their team. This was made clear when he drafted Sample in the 2nd round. But we need to make use of Burton he is a deep threat. To just ignore talent at WR when we are counting on a track guy with real bad hands in Yoshi or Irwin is kind of crazy.

Play Charlie Jones {when he heals up} or Burton. Yoshi and Irwin are not going to get it done. Yoshi can do everything but catch. I hope the missed block by Yoshi on the pick 6 was a brainfart.

That really surprises me. Great hands and catches but looks slow.

speed ain’t everything. Acceleration and quickness matter as well. And he doesn’t have those 2 lol

If I didn't know better I'd think you're not a fan.

The dude has had 179 and 2-TDs since Tee has been out. Acceleration and quickness does matter, but so do catches, yards, and TDs

nah I like him. But we know who he is. He's an ok 3rd option. You dont want him to be the 2nd option ROS

Pay Gesicki and let Erick All learn from him as a pass catcher once he heals up. Tee is injured far too often.

TE's are cheaper than WR's anyways. I like Mike.

BTW, I like Mike Hilton too, bring him back especially after the Dax injury.

A two-year contract at the least. I do not care that he is 29 years old. Better do it before he hits free agency as well. Sooner the better.

Irv Smith screwed up the consecutive part.

Smith just isnt good so Im not going to put that on Burrow for not helping him get paid.  Any good TE will put up numbers with Burrow.

I do not put it on Burrow just know he was brought here to replace Hayden Hurst.

I think Mike deserves another contract. He is a good team player and brings it.

Burrow's "best" 4th option target-wise was Uzomah in 2021.
He had 63 targets.

In most years, Boyd was the 3rd option and had around 80-90 targets.
As he became the 3rd option, he'd be around 700 yards.

Gesicki put up about those same metrics in MIA when he had around that many targets.
He can be the same caliber as a Tyler Boyd type guy if used enough.

At typical 4th option on the Bengals is going to have ~400-500 yards. To me, that's perfect for someone like Iosivas.
Gesicki can get close to that 700 range, which is an ideal 3rd option.
800-1000 is an ideal 2nd option, and 1100+ is top option.

At the end of the day, the Bengals aren't getting a WR better than Iosivas/Burton to come in and become the 3rd WR.
Gesicki, as it stands, is better than both of them.
Gesicki should be the 3rd option and Iosivas/Burton should be 4th option when they are in the game.
When the Bengals run 12 personnel, the other TE should be the 4th option.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Agreed. Of all the receiving options after Chase and Higgins, I rate Gesicki as the one they should bring back. He can wreck havoc on pass D's in certain matchups with Chase getting focused on.

Chase.. Rec 55 ...targets 70... yards 717...Avg.13 yards per catch...long 70

Gesicki  Rec 30... targets 36...yards 353...Avg. 11.8 yards per catch...long 47

Higgins Rec 29...targets 45...yards 341...Avg. 11.8 yards per catch...long 25

Target for target it is close.

Yeah, Hilton has become one of my favorite players. Can't believe I say that about an ex-Stealer. His football IQ is invaluable as well and he's still playing at an extremely high level. I'm all on board with another contract for him.

Burton needs to play I do not care if he kicks Zac's dog right before the game. Zac is the head coach...Zac calls the plays on offense....Zac will have direct influence on who is picked as skill position guys on offense. So, Zac basically drafted Burton he knew he was a headcase now deal with him he deserves 2 or 3 deep targets a game on go routes. He is the 4th best option and can give great production with very few targets that is a weapon we will need.

It doesn't matter if Taylor plays Burton or not. Did you not see the "Burrow Death Stare" he got on the sideline when he pranced in front of Joe? It's going to be a long time before another ball is thrown his way unless Browning is in. He's got a lot of nerve thinking he is going to sit next to Burrow anyway. Even Chase rarely sits with him during games.
