Jermaine Burton still doesn’t know the freaking plays
It’s not like he isn’t aloud to go to the casino, but in the aftermath of this weekend, you would have hoped he was spending his free time doing something else.

Does Burton's career go the way of Reggie Rembert or does he quickly figure it out and have a more successful NFL career?

Quick run down on Reggie:

We need Adam Jones to give this kid an intervention. Dead serious! I think he's the perfect dude for the job.

Maybe a mentorship from Stanely Wilson as well?

Young kid spends his Sunday night playing a few slots who the **** cared?

I’d sooner he waste a few dollars gambling than chucking it at a stripper while drunk.

The one thing he needs to learn is that Cincy isn’t a big place and people will recognise him.

***** move taking a picture of him tbh.

I think for me the real red flag is he is out ALONE. You got 52 other guys on the roster, 15 guys on the PS, and all the trainers/equipment guys/etc... and he couldn't get a single one to hang out with him? Does he have no friends? Is he making no connections with anyone on the team? Or do they not want to spend time with him?

That's the things I suddenly worry about seeing that picture.

I've been critical of his recent issues but I think that's a bit unfair.  Some people do like to hang out alone at times and not always be around people they "work" with almost every day.

Dude looks like a standard under dressed 78 year old granny blowing her SS and disability checks on the digital slots.

Yeah, I try to remain optimistic, especially given the brief sample of his physical abilities that we've seen. I know that some of these fellas are very much still big kids, but I hope that one of the veterans pulls him aside and gives him the "it's time to let go of childish things" speech.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

That's hilarious, and of course I know Pac-mans past all too well. Ts, he seems to be doing a pretty decent job mentoring CH Jr.

I actually wasn't aware that Pacman is mentoring Chris Henry Jr. I'd have to Google if you're being serious or joking around.

All this bashing of Burton I get it. He did however beat Slay 1 on 1 He develops he could be a real weapon by end of this year beginning of next year.

Thats the frustration. He could be helping the team but instead cant be bothered to do his job consistently. He's got talent and could be a real asset.

Im afraid he will turn out to be a life loser, the guy who got paid and decided to party it away. 10 years from now he’ll be some guy shuttling train crews around for minimum wage telling anyone unfortunate enough to ride in his van how he could have been the best WR in the league, but the coaches just didn’t like him and made it their mission to **** him at every turn.

But it’s not like I’m Nostradamus…

or he could possibly be a millionaire many times over and be one of the best players in the NFL..nobody has ever said he is a "party animal"

True. Maybe he won’t “party” his opportunity away. But he’s ***** off right now, at the worst possible time.

Classic behavior for an alcoholic/addict. But I don’t know the guy.

He’s clearly got issues. The most compassionate thing to do is to have no compassion. Make things come to a head, and hopefully the pressure creates the desire to change behavior or seek help if it’s necessary , and follow through. This is tough when the guy is a millionaire….

Odell comes to mind.

Pacman and his family adopted both Henry’s sons.
