OK, if you assert we went prevent after up by 2 scores then we just disagree.
We were too agressive

Not with Jackson on other side and being in Baltimore, Jackson is also a top tier QB , no lead is safe

Defense allowed two tight rope TDs.
The entire team gave the win away.

That #1 guy couldn’t have done much more. Seems unfair to include him. You go for 260 and 3 TD’s and your team still loses there’s something severely wrong.

3rd and 2 most teams jam it down your throat but we’re a soft team no way we could gain 2 yards in 2 plays running it. Burrow is getting killed no defense and no run game. Soft soft football team

This was a mismanaged game. The coach should have taken the ball out of the players' hands when we were up by 2 TDs in the fourth.
Also not the biggest fan of going for 2 at the end, I thought it was too aggressive,l Along with some of the decisions to go for it on 4th down

Agree , think ultimately this style of play is tough to win games in the long run. Worse defense in the league , zero run game and I don’t think they even trust there kicker anymore with long FG’s. Burrow took a beating it was tough to watch .

Didn't we just have a whole week of complaining about Taylor taking the ball out of Burrow's hands a couple of weeks ago when he ran the ball?

Agreed. Chase was MVP. Burrow played a damn fine game, but those two decisions to bomb it and turn over on downs was just a bit TOO aggressive.

Admittedly not a silly as the guy who started the "Prevent Offensive will cost us a game" thread.

We did and as I said: "You can't please some people any of the time."
I was a fan of Zac going conservative then and would have preferred he had gone more conservative last night. of course, I try to be consistent.

Why were those routes even in the play call in those situations in the first place?

Yeah, I would have preferred him going for the tie and OT.

To clear out the zones. Herbie was pointing it out all night. It was also there for the taking all night when Joe wasn't getting chased all over the place. One of them he also checked to because he saw the matchup up top. Iirc, it was the fourth down play.

Not me. Not with that "defense", I was yelling "two!" as soon as Chase caught the TD.

When they were on their own side of the 50, I was definitely not a fan. I was gung ho on the last one though.

The guy who has forgotten more about ball than you will ever know? What a silly guy indeed.

I questioned more going for it on 4th down. Of course, like many in this forum I'm not a better football coach than Zac

It appears you have forgotten the part on how to play with a lead.
