Well, the next 3 years are hugely important and the Bengals need to do everything they can to win. This includes making shrewd decisions on coaches and the roster.
How would you maximize their prime?
Yup
And the problem here is this team has so many shortcomings it's nearly impossible to fix them in one off-season. We aren't just a couple players away. Or even 4 0r 5 !!
This team is a bunch, big bunch of players away.
We would have to go out and get 3-4 big time free agents. Somehow hit on 3 or 4 draft picks. And a handful of our previous draft picks suddenly turning it drastically around to have any chance next year.
So basically a pipe dream. And then you're quickly looking two years down the road.
Not to mention ZT has to swallow his pride and give up being OC. And oh yes we need a DC
Giant task ahead or the Burrow Chase era is going to slip away.

It's just utterly amazing that Joe is playing at such a high level behind such a train wreck of an Oline. Then add in a practice squad level defense. A kicker who can't kick and an OC who just isn't good.

The FO doesn't understand the concept of "Championship Window" or going All-In. The FO are too conservative to maximise these opportunities.
The minute the FO decided to Tag and keep Tee for the 2024 season instead of trading him, they should have started being more aggressive. Keeping Tee on the Tag is an all-in type move and the subsequent moves should have matched.
The Bengals FO like to rollover ~$10m in cap space every year, if they were more aggressive, that would have been enough to sign Stephon Gilmore($7m) and Calais Campbell($2m), without having to even restructure any other players contracts.

Burrow plays with half of a line and half the time to make decision. I am not sure what else people expect him to do, walk on water.

Burrow is 33-29-1 in his regular season career. He's mentioned how he's having one of his best seasons of playing ball and yet, he's still on a losing team. Wasting Burrow's career is about to turn him into a sub .500 QB for wins and losses. I feel for Burrow.

The only possible way for Burrow, Chase, Higgins, Trey or any of the above average players to see a SB again is to leave the Bengals. That window slammed shut several years ago. Would really like to see those 4 with a team that is committed to serious winning. The years are slipping by them fast.

Sounds about right, and makes my point. He is constantly getting sacked or hit. It’s amazing that he’s not on the injury report every week.

And his wrist is not 100% either. Notice how some of his passes wobble and have no zip? Last night a few of those. Always flexing his hand and arm, glove on, glove off. Amazing how well he is playing with no O line and a wrist not 100%.
