There is no SB or AFCC run without 6 of those 10 picks.
We are talking big moments, big stops, big kicks, and key plays.

For the life of me I can't figure out who the other 4 were after Chase and McPherson.

Yep. And really, out two "best" OL are both awful run blockers. Take a gander:
Position, Player, PFF grades (Rank), Total/PB/RB
OT (133): OBJ, 58.7/71.4/48.2 (87/47/120)
OT (133): Mims, 57.7/58.3/56.0 (90/83/97)
OT (133): T. Brown, 65.2/64.2/68.4 (53/70/41)
OT (133): Ford, 54.4/55.2/51.2 (96/92/111)
-------------
OG (125): Cappa, 53.9/47.8/55.4 (97/94/89)
OG (125): Volson, 57.1/51.0/62.1 (83/87/61)
--------
C (60): Karras, 59.7/76.2/48.8 (37/5/55)

Cam Sample had a big stop in the Titans game. Can't remember if it was on Henry around the goal line or maybe a 4th down stop somewhere in the game.

Looks like 3rd and 1 from our 35, for a 0 yard gain by Ryan Tannehill (failed qb sneak?) with 8 minutes left in the game.
Next down Logan Wilson and Markus Bailey tackled Derrick Henry for -2 yards on 4th down.

Yep. I just went back and looked and that's the one.
It was an RPO that Tann kept.

I think/hope the Bengals have realized that trying to wait until all the chips fall to decide which contracts to pay just isn't working. You have to recognize your key players and pay them and do your best to fill in the spots around them. I would've thought paying tee just a little while ago was never going to happen. Now I think it may very well happen. Tee definitely is one of our talented players and even with missing time he will not be easily replaced.

Carman held down the left side for the post season run in 2022. Finally carrying his weight. Playing at his natural position he never had a shot at solidifying (if Pollack can make Ford serviceabe at LT after struggling at all other positions….)
Without Shelvin Mahomes takes the lead late and there is no SB. Shelvin also shined against Tennessee. Big game Shelvin as Burrow and co called him at lsu, showed why in that 2022 run.
And Ossai had a great 2022 post season run.

You guys are going to have to let me know your A+ drafts so I can see what those players did for us in postseason Championship runs.

Ja’Marr Chase
Jackson Carman
Joseph Ossai
Cam Sample
Tyler Shelvin

Evan McPherson
Trey Hill
Chris Evans
Wyatt Huber
They never should have traded back in the 2nd round. Had they got Cosmi or Humphrey to add to with Chase it would have been a game changer. But they wanted to **** around and collect their precious draft picks. And ofc it backfired.
Lol, Jackson Carman... I remember when so many on here were convinced that he was going to be the most dominant Guard. But, but he was a bargain in the 2nd round, Paul Alexander said so...

I would be on board with that as well. Trade him to NE for Barmore. He's been hurt this year but he's still a stud.

Yes please, that would be a perfect player for player trade for Higgins.

Chase is a great change of pace, but ground control and 4th quarter time kill is what we need. Elway didn't win a SB till Davis came along. Brady won with Dillon, Antowain Smith and Blount. Manning had James, Addai and even Faulk for one year.
We are losing games in 4th quarter and Burrow has thrown 5 of his 6 INTs in the 4th.
On defense, the most glaring need is interior pass rush. When we had Hill and Larry O, anchored around Reader - all was well.
If there is a give and take here, I would prefer an interior DT over a WR. Enough of converting a DE to a rush DT, ala Carter.
Are we watching the same team? The interior o-line is a dumpster fire. Priority 1, 2, and maybe 3 on offense should be fixing it and keeping Burrow from getting murdered. Chase Brown has played well this year, and in terms of advanced metrics, is outperforming Mixon and his bloated contract. I’d argue shoring up WR is also more important than RB2. The Bengals can find another RB, but unless we’re talking an elite RB, it’s a low priority.

That’s the last time the ketchup eval should ever be used. Paul Alexander can eat a bag of dicks…

I agree with the first part of your statement, the second part is a little uncalled for. For a good number of years PA was a great OL coach and evaluator of talent. It was sad to see him not recognizing the subtle changes in talent evaluation toward the end of his career with the Bengals, but that's no reason to disrespect him in that fashion.

0 sacks in 3 games, and a late hit penalty that helped end their season. Real great.

People bash Paul Alexander constantly but then give Willie a pash when he vouches for some total bust.

We have eyes, and we remember. Ossai stepped up in the last stretch of the season and into the postseason.

Your definition of “great” and mine must be vastly different.
