Colts currently beating Broncos 10 -0 that holds it improves our chances slightly division games and all I can see colts losing 2 of last 3. Broncos play Chargers then next week takes care of them phins still have to play Bills

Their playoff chances are alive until they're not.  I'm just rolling with that.

The Colts just pulled a Jordan Battle...dropped the ball going into the endzone, out the side, turnover instead of a TD.

I think the toughest part will be us going undefeated. Could see the Broncos and Colts going 2-3 and Dolphins going 3-2 or worse.

Looks like the 2 hardest will be another loss by the Colts and the Bengals winning out.  We could get lucky with the Steelers resting starters/  But the Chiefs could be doing that against Denver as well

Denver plays:
@Chargers
@Cincinnati
Chiefs

Indy
Titans
@NYG
Jacksonville

Dolphins:
49ers
@Cleveland
@NY Jets

Bengals
Cleveland
Denver
@Pittsburgh

Well, it was ugly but we got the win. Both the Colts and Dolphins lost.

As a bonus, the Chargers lost, the Steelers lost, the Bills won, and Mahommes has a gimpy ankle and could miss next week.

Still need 3 wins (we'll be lucky to get 1), 3 straight losses from Denver or the Chargers, and 1 more loss from Indy AND Miami.

With Broncos win today, they now have 9 wins.
Best Bengals can do is 9 wins.
Dolphins and Colts also at 6 wins with Bengals now but with way easier schedules remaining.

Here is the ONLY playoff scenario that works for the Bengals at this point:
Bengals win out, Broncos lose out, Dolphins and Colts lose at least 1 game.
If Bengals end up in a tie with Dolphins and/or Colts, they will lose out based on conference record.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

It doesn't look anything like a layup. Buffalo won a game they weren't expected to. They have the Pats x2 and the Jets left and should win all 3 of those. The Chiefs have the Texans, Steelers and Broncos, with a 2 game lead for HFA. If they end up with a 1 game lead going into the final weekend, they have to win the game to secure it because if they tie the Bills, Bills have the H2H win.

So far, everything is lining up which is frustrating because all it takes is one bad outcome from here on out and i hate to hope that all the pins will fall in order with still 3 games for everyone to play.

If we assume Bengals win out, Dolphins and Colts only have to lose one more each Dolphins have to travel to 49ers and then to Cleveland in the cold then they finish at the Jets. Colts have Titans and Jags at home and Giants on the road. They could easily lose any one of those. Denver travels to the Chargers this week in a game the Chargers badly need to move back in front of them. Indy has the easiest schedule remaining which is why we needed Denver to beat them today, even though that leaves them 3 games ahead. Broncos travel to LAC, then travel to Cincy, then get the Chiefs at home. So if they lose out and everything else falls in place, Bengals win the tiebreaker against them.

Surtain and Watt were both injured today so it remains to be seen how that turns out.

Never believe reports of a Mahomes "injury". He's this generation's Big Ben.

Pretty reasonable that the things we need could take place. Dolphins 1more loss, Colts 1 more loss, Chargers beat Denver Thursday night, we beat Cleveland then beat Denver the following week, KC beats Denver the last week and if we beat the Stoolers we're in. It's possible they have nothing to play for in week 18 as well, but Pitt taking an ass kicking Bal winning big and Buff winning today, odds are they probably will. A lot of variables but they're not crazy. There's a real good chance a lot of those things happen. Obviously winning out will be the hardest part and the week 18 KC LAC game could be weird if Both have nothing to play for. If they did KC would be favored. Idk where Den and LAC play Thursday but that's the big one that's not in our control.

A lot of this is out of our control. Whoever loses that game, we will be roooting for them to lose out. It would just be easier if it is the broncos as we can control that games outcome, in theory.

The game is in sofi, so that’s a plus, especially on the short week.

We're pretty bad in division so beating Cleveland and Pittsburgh will be tough. Denver is good too.

Bengals can’t be eliminated next week, if they win. So just take care of business Sunday and let the rest of the fallout happen.

That said, it would be helpful for the Texans to beat the chiefs (I never root for injuries, but hopefully the chiefs let mahomes rest to make this task a bit easier).

Also hope that chargers beat broncos so that the broncos have a lot pressure the last two weeks with rookie QB, going against two teams that need to win out (bengals chiefs).

Dolphins and colts will take care of itself.

Even one extra win against the lowly Pats could have altered how the Bengals season is playing out.
