Patty and the KC Cheats time up?

Another difference in Spagnuolo. Truly a defensive mastermind. And then on the 4th down play where Allen nearly made a miraculous pass to Kincaid, Spagnuolo showed a look that the Chiefs all game long had pulled back on and instead rushed the passer. The Bills saw the look given, moved the protection to the left, and this allowed the massive pressure. Bengals should have offered the bank to Spagnuolo the way Penn State did to get the Ohio State defensive coordinator.

I'm not saying it would be as highly rated as a Bills/Eagles game, but, as you worded it, I sure wouldn't be looking forward to seeing "the Buffalo Participation Trophy Bills ... face off against the New Woke Look Commanders." Chiefs/Eagles is probably what the NFL was clamoring for in terms of ratings, unless it were Detroit/Chiefs.

Detroit put themselves in the bizarrely tenuous position where they as a franchise have never even made the SB, yet anything other than winning the SB is seen as a failure of a season. If they falter again next year and the last thing people see is Jared Goff heading back to his SoCal mansion and Dan Campbell awkward "dude bro" crying, the narrative on them could get sour.

I get why people are sick of the Chiefs, but Josh Allen and the Bills have lost to them 4 times out of 4 tries and people are eventually going to stop going to bat for you if you never slay their evil giant.  Personally, I find all the fan reactions to this stuff to be pretty fascinating...I worked in marketing psychology before I sold out and became a civil servant/doormat.

The Bills made it clear they aren't easy to trust to unseat the Chiefs, so good news for the Bengals to take up the mantle of "Hero Of the People" and slay the Chiefs...we just need ZT to stop treating the first month of the season as if it doesn't matter and we're in.

I guess, because Tiger would have destroyed him. It's a question if in Tiger's prime if Scheffler would have come up #1 once, I think it's no question Tiger would have trumped Jack.

Like put MJ in any era and he's dominating everyone. I guess we have to compare the primes of their careers!

What made Tom Brady so good? It wasn't his athleticism.

The NFL is just a big marketing giant employing PhD psychologists most likely.

True, and yet here we are talking about how the NFL is blatantly throwing 100+ years of good will and history of a gazillion dollar mega corporation out the window in order to rig games so a team that everybody absolutely hates and refuses to watch plays in the Super Bowl every year.

If I ran the NFL I'd have an alternate game going on at the same time where fans vote who plays in it. It'd probably be the Cowboys VS the Patriots though and that would make people mad too. Hmm, better have 3 games going on at once and call them all Super Bowls.

The Bills defense had a huge red zone stop to set up Allen for glory. Allen failed to get his offensive line into the right protection. This loss is on him!

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

I have been perusing a couple of Bills forums (I have a son that goes to many of their games, including that freezing/windy 6-3 game they had against the Patriots one year) and many of the Bills' posters would agree with you.

However, some also pointed out that all game long Spagnuolo showed that same look and didn't rush the QB, but pulled back, and thus Allen thought the wise move was to move the protection left, rather than right, where the rush came from. Spagnuolo outsmarted them. They also note the pathetic line play of one of the OL on that play, as he simply blocked air, looking all confused, rather than pick up one of those rushing, who went right by him, and that could have bought Allen more time. What a bad time  for that OL to completely mess up.

Nonetheless, Allen almost made a miracle play. Had Kincaid caught that, it would have gone down with one of the more amazing playoff plays.

I was really hoping for Bills/Lions because that way, no matter who won, one team was going to get their first Lombardi.
