"Inching closer" to getting the JaMarr Chase deal done
(Yesterday, 01:48 PM)phil413 Wrote: Lol how is so much of this leaking? Is there a series on Netflix I'm missing?

I hear crickets. Smirk

I have no sources and the National sources seem to have gone very quiet.

I’m guessing it’s based off this.

Actually, it was from an article that I read on MSN. For some reason, my work computer's home page is set to MSN.com and I can't change it. So, when it opens, it is like opening a page full of news articles, but once you close it and open it again many of the articles change and it's not there anymore.

I can't believe people are still arguing that the Bengals are cash poor...

Hilarious

I know, the suspense is like some soap opera bullshit.

Wonder what details the Brown family is mulling over.

Chase and Tee likely asking for a coke and skittles to seal the deal.

It's kind of like they're "inching closer" to the summit of Everest and they just left base camp.

It's the injury waiver. Worker's Comp doesn't begin to cover the salary of an NFL Star.

I am a very pateint man who is losing my patience. Pally called it on day 1, I neeed meds to get through Bengals FA. I get it is a ton of money, byt maybe focus on Chase and deal with Higgins later. Unless Chase is demanding both deals done together. Smirk

Why would Chase be responsible to purchase the injury waiver through an isnurance company?

I love Chase but appears he could care less if the team has money to protect Joe Burrow and have a great defensive roster.

You said it, right there. These contract negotiations should be pretty much bang bang by now.

I was trying to copy the post but it won't let me. But Goodberry just said he's not breaking news. "But the word is to be on the lookout for the news any moment now".

Just figured I'd say that so people didn't just think I was talking complete BS or joking. Not sure how much inside info he has but he's not one to break news.

LOL

It started last weekend, Tee jumped on a plane from Miami. Then crickets.

Where is this word coming from?

Okay, I was skeptical of those other guys that I never heard of. Rapoport was the only reliable one until now.

Looks to be a done deal with the wideouts. Good news especially if we have Ja'Marr the best WR in the NFL locked up for a while.

Was thinking a Tee trade may be possible, but not looking like it now. Oh well, just have to hope Tee talks to Housh about how he eliminated
the hammy issues through yoga so he can be able to stay healthier from here on out.

That SI article doesn't really say any specific time. But Goodberry seems like whatever his source was that he expects the news to drop before tonight. He's not one to act like he breaks news.
