I don't like the finalizing qualifier. If done, nothing else to do but sign the contract.

I hope this is correct, but will feel better once Ian and Adam weigh in on these 2.

Next up: restructure of Joes contract and resigning Trey

I've been seeing that a lot today. I am still going to wait till it's official and then come back and laugh at all the keyboard GMs on here.

If it is done, next priority to sign a starting guard who is much better at protecting the QB than Cappa, Volson and Ford were last year.

I just don't see Trey as a priority yet or if at all for the FO.

I mean, Rapien is pretty reliable

I don't doubt that, but I'd like to hear from the team or league not a reporter.

Next priority is to sign a legit guard while their are still some available.....trey is signed for next year he can wait a little longer.....i think they trade him anyways.

I trust the source, but I don't trust "the small details"

This just needs to be done so we can actually start improving the team.

I would like to commend Sunset for the most accurate thread title during free agency.

Inching closer seems to be true, problem is 50 yards take a ton of time to cover only 1 inch at a time.

GREAT news!! Now please tell me they’re going to sign a good guard
Or two…some defensive help would also be nice. Knowing them though, this will probably be considered “upgrading” the team. Still love it’s getting done and that they’re doing it together. Pretty cool.

100%

For all intents and purposes, Trey is still under contract and not a priority, as he is pursuing trade deals on his own behalf.

Protect the man who leads where the franchise is going.

Finalizing means the player, agent and team have come to terms and the lawyers are writing and reviewing the contracts.

Not done until I see Pumpkin at the podium with her hubby in the crowd and the old man in the background announcing the signing. These hacks that spew garbage are seeking attention.

Though I would much rather hear from someone like Rappaport, Rapien is not a hack.

Agree with this. Get Hendrickson extended in the Summer or whatever.
Get a Guard before they all gone.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Come on FO gets the deal done for Jamar and Tee, then sign this guy tomorrow. Jenkins would be a huge upgrade.

I'll never forget how excited I was when we landed Shaun Rogers.
