You know I have noticed a couple of things since joining this Board. 1) there are many great people from seemingly all walks of life that genuinely love football and this team..I may not always agree with their opinions but I respect them 2) and there are some people that hang on this Board  12 hours a day with seemingly no life that attack both new members and anyone that has a differing opinion..Frank..if you review my comments, I have always been respectful towards you..I have even complimented  you..But...and I may get banned ..but no big deal..Frank..and somebody needs to tell you this man.. ..seriously dude ..you and a couple of others on this Board that incessantly attack others and act like kids ..really need to grow up..You ruin the experience for all the good people that visit and contribute..including myself...................................................................................And finally Frank..yes the record of the team the past two years has not been remarkable..but again ..you conveniently leave out the little fact that in addition to our staring quarterback that was injured and recovering from an injury..the loss of starting offensive tackles, players like Higgins and Hubbard playing with injuries..and a boatload of others on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball..this team held its own.

Imho it's too easy to say that not counting the players that aren't trash, the roster just is trash.

Not argueing one should be all happy with the state of affairs, but there is just some middle ground. You're just the black to the white and it's just as exaggerated.

I didn't attack you, E. 

I replied to someone else who attacked you, with my opinion on their attack, which was a pretty tame take on my part(expecting better communication from somone so educated). You were the one that pulled out the tape measure. 

So, not only didn't you confront the attacker, you escalated with somone who was relatively innocent.

Yes we got a guard, we also got one when we drafted Volson….the guard we got was the 2nd or 3rd best on his college team.

Zero production? That's because you look at one stat and make a judgement. He may not have had many sacks, but he was at the top with pressure rate. He's going to be a great edge rusher. And the Guard we got allowed zero sacks in over 700 snaps. We're not going to have 53 All-Pros on the team you know....

But the root cause is ownership. They act like the generation coming out of the depression. In 1950 they still think they are in it. Had they signed Trey, Tee, and Jamar sooner they’d have been fine. They’ve got to hit on more players in both FA & the draft. They aren’t.

He wasn't 100% either at the start of the season. No one even knew if he'd be able to throw the ball effectively anymore.

Pressure can lead to sacks for other players or bad throws to create interceptions.

I could go on but what's the use? This team wants and expects fans to "leave any past failures behind" because it allows them to operate the exact same failing way they've operated for decades and maybe they'll get lucky and fall into a championship because the law of large numbers dictates it. The one thing the law of large numbers doesn't dictate is the length of time it takes for something random to even out.

Go ahead and sit by quietly, refreshing your optimism every year, year after year. Hoping that this is finally the year we break through and get that elusive championship. It's your right as a fan. 

I won't sit by quietly, believing they're smarter and know what they're doing, when i have decades of results that show they don't.
