Exactly, but he can eat up space in the middle and command a double team, which opens up BJ and the Edge rushers to rush, which is exactly what Peko did so well.

This became a popular thread for a guy the Bengals have not made an attempt to sign. I also think he is still unable to pass a physical and no teams have asked him in for a visit, but maybe I am wrong.

Jackson is a NT type. 6'2" 330 lbs. That is a nose. But asking BJ to fill Readers role next to Rankins was boneheaded. Both the NT and DT spots got way worse in terms of run defense.

For sure and I was known as a bit of a Peko hater for years for calling him a one trick pony. But that is most good NT's.

He was a damn good Nose Tackle. Not many can pass rush too like Reader could his last season with us before he got hurt.

No problem. Jackson's run D grade skyrocketed late on, and did his overall. He was in the 30s after the first 4-5 games he played, but got it up over 50 by year's end.  Those last 8 games or so, he must have been averaging in the 60s at least.

McKinnley I know seems to be a Nose Tackle with his size, but he has some quicks for a big man and is really strong.

I thought he could be our next DJ Reader, who knows? McKinnley could be the one that blows up this year even if I have been calling for 
Kris to be the one in his second year playing 3-tech with his long arms and strength.

McKinnley Jackson shown that he is not just a run stopper late last season which surprised me.
