***Week 16 GameDay Thread...Bengals @ Texans***
(12-25-2016, 01:25 AM)BengalFanInNJ Wrote: Ok. Then the Bengals shouldn't draft anyone then. No matter where the Bengals end up picking, you are going to think they will screw it up (and they just might). That said, this loss is meaningless. The win would have been meaningless as well. So, in the end, the loss benefits the team more in the long run.

Save the drama for Facebook. Marvin has not done well with the rookies and getting them into the game plan. He's no longer an asset to this team but more of a plague. His peak has passed as HC. It's time for someone to come in who can motivate this team and make them believe again. TBH, not sure if we had a new coach Mikey B. Would even let that happen. He has been busted before by 700wlw during an interview stating, "the perfect team is an 8-8 team because it keeps the fans coming back."

Mike Brown doesn't care about winning. He cares about money. Why shouldn't he? However, Winning a SB is awesome for the pocket book. He knows this, yet realizes as well we are puppets on a string , and will continue coming back with shreds of hope. Only to lose and hope for next year.

If the Bengals were a publicly owned company, both Mike and Marvin would have been gone years ago.

Who thinks Hill and Pacman need to GTFO?

Hill=yes
PAC Man=no

He's still pretty vital but think he is disgruntled.

Got to watch the end of game, with few bits and pieces here and there. Anyways this team is a disaster, and even if they were healthy they still arent that good, maybe average at best. The talent overall just isnt there, and the coaching isnt good enough to overcome that.

LOL. It was the best thing ever. Bengals drive in to field goal range. Burkhead with a huge 10 yard run, centering the ball to make it a 43 yard attempt...

Bullock false starts, misses the kick wide right and no flag thrown.

Freaking epic Bengals.

Never. Bengals fans are destined to be tortured by the most pathetic owner the NFL has ever seen. For then, now and ever.

This team will never sniff another super bowl as long as mikey has any influence on it at all. That would include the influence he has had on whoever takes over when he's done. There's potentially another couple decades of the same ole stuff you've seen since '92.

Actually, no. It costs money to go to the playoffs and Super Bowl. I don't think the league covers anything, so there's the costs of flights, hotels, meals, performance bonuses, extra payroll, etc.

I thought it should have been a false start flag too. I know the game meant nothing for us but the refs were terrible in the second half. 3 flags on the top of my head against the defense that should never have been thrown. The 2 DPI's on Jones were really bad. One there was barely any contact if at all and the ball was 10 feet over everyones head. The other Hopkins puts Jones in a headlock and DPI is called. And to top that same drive off they get Hunt for a bogus roughing the passer. That all lead to a FG which was the difference maker. Still smh on those calls.
