Even the best days weren't that good...
#1
How many times this year early on did our offense look good in the 1st half...scoring seemingly at will only to score 3 points in the 2nd half and not be able to move the ball.

That's playcalling and outdated coaching scheme.

I saw Bill Cowher talking about playcalling and he talked about not blitzing at all in the 1st half then blitzing like crazy in the 2nd half. Basically good teams come out with 2 game plans...one in the 1st half and another in the 2nd half.

It seems like we don't do that, but also teams do that a lot against us...and we can't adjust.

We have.

And if we had scored more points in the second half of every game you would be squealing about how Marvin sucks because the team is slow to get started.

You're so in defend Marvin mode right now aren't you? My criticism isn't even about him.

It's Lazor. He's the OC.

Boy do you just love to argue.

If I said the sky was blue, you would produce a picture of a sunset and say, "is that blue?"

Mike Brown sucks. Marvin Lewis sucks. Hue Jackson sucks. There's no way to disguise it any more. These fellows have to go, the lot of them. All evidence has been submitted and weighted and the verdict is that they must all go. No further explanation is necessary or warranted in this case. All appeals are hereby denied with the simple response of, "view the evidence".

Now subtract the points either directly scored by the defense or fasilitated by the d giving the offense back the ball with short field position.

Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

I'm not too in tune with Lazor's career, but I feel like the most noteworthy thing on his resume is making Ryan Tannehill better by leaving Miami.

The Browns game actually pumped up our 2nd half numbers a decent bit.

He had the exact same issues in Miami. He would leave the run very easily and quickly while being rather uncreative in his playcalling.
