That was kind of overblown as well. You can see it slow motion on Youtube. Yeah, his leg gets hyoperextended but you really can't see anything. On the scale of injuries the show over and over on replay (think Dak Prescott) this replay was mild. No bones dislocated, no blood and a barely visible hyperextension. Drama.

Most likely why Joe was able to tweet 'See you next year" so soon.
Crazy, all the things this team neglects and they are 1 of few if not the only 1 to have an MRI unit lol... It makes you wander if it was cheaper to do that considering the amount of injuries every year on this team...

“Other Structural Damage”. Not good. If he ever gets back to close to 100%, it sounds like it may not be next year.

While I don't think Burrow is done for, your insistence that he is some sort of soulless and infallible football machine who is immune to physical and psychological setbacks is getting a little ridiculous, too.

Doubt 10 year olds know who Greg Cook was, but yes; drama is high and mostly from grown men

Is knee was 100% dislocated.. there is a video of the knee cap coming out on YouTube

Other structural damage is most likely meniscal and/or PCL tear.

That is best case scenario for a clean ACL tear. This is worse, but I hope you’re right.

Where did I say that? He has a long painful rehab in front of him. I have confidence his competitiveness will allow him to push through it like the champ he is and will be ready by camp. And the post you are referencing has to do with the media???? Heck my niece blew out both her ACL's and one MCL playing soccer and rehabbed both of them just fine. Medicine is better than it used to be. She saw the same specialists that take care of the Titans.

It wasn't bad at all, compared to the ACTUAL gruesome injuries (like Allan Hurns); you can see the knee move and then shift back into place, that's it.

Just as a reminder Palmer tore his ACL, MCL, and PCL. He was back for the next preseason 8 months later. I wouldn’t expect that return but it’s not out of the question, again being the lead leg instead of drive leg is a big deal here.

It took Teddy nearly 3 years to get back on the field full time and his was considered a miraculous return (much like Smiths).
It's not good. But anyone hoping for a miracle or a fairytale ending to all this just hasn't been a Bengal fan longer than a month.
It's a completely false statement to say people can tell how life impacting an injury can be just from seeing it. We've literally watch 1000s of players get smashed in the head and pop back up and 1000s players get knocked out. Teddy Bridgewater didn't even get touched on his injury. How could anyone seeing that say it was a terrible injury?
You have no idea what side of the spectrum this injury is on. Palmer had a torn ACL, MCL, and damaged tissue around his knee. It could be the exact same injury as Burrow.
Bridgewater had a dislocated knee, torn ACL, and other structural damage on a play he didn't even get touched.

I've watched it many times on youtube. I can't see that. And a patella dislocation is not a dislocation of the entire knee.
