He has yet to score above a 61.5 in PFF’s run blocking grading in a singular performance and ranks dead-last (31st) among starting centers with a 43.8 grade in that category.
He has never been a good run blocker, but he was always solid in pass protection - and now that’s not even the case.
Including a clunker of a performance agains the Jets, Trey Hopkins has earned a PFF pass blocking grade worse than 35.0 in 4-of-8 games.
