Exactly, forget the amount of TV's. The issue is the option of what to watch. With Cable/Satellite we have much more options today than in the early 80's. So while more people may watch a recent SB eg. Seattle vs New England you have a greater amount of people watching National Explorer TV or other Cable/Satellite channels now than in the early '80s. And if more TV options become available the odds of beating that 49ers vs Bengals 82 classic go down.
