His one-year, $2.43M tender is not guaranteed. Bengals on hook for nothing if cut.
This is good. In light of them being able to cut him even tomorrow if they were tight on cap room there is no downside to this move. I really hope people get that instead of saying "his" 2.43M could have been the difference between keeping Hopkins and landing a better center for instance.
