there is no shame in not being as good as bengal era eli apple. Especially in ctb's rookie and sophomore years

The logic behind it is, unless Apple is head and shoulders better (it's possible), you go with youth. 

CTB is going to be a starter going forward in the near future, if for no other reason than, he will be cost efficient. so he needs all the experience he can absorb.
