Do you really think he needs the reps, (he's doing plenty of catching on his own) or is it more beneficial to let guys like Burton and Yoshi have more time with Burrow throwing to them. If Chase wants to give up some of the training camp reps, that can be more of an advantage than a disadvantage due to Chase already being an elite receiver. If he gets hurt, we will be glad Burton and the rest got the extra time.
Ja'Marr Chase is refusing to practice with his team because he wants more money with 2-years left on his contract. You and others can put a "happy spin" on that if you want.
I'll call it just like i would any other player in the NFL. I absolutely love Trey Hendrickson and he may be my current favor Bengal, but when he pulled his trade demand, I commented on it for what I thought it was. Never once did: "O Boy, Trey already knows how to rush the QB and is in great shape. He he decides to holdout it will give folks like Murphy and Ossai more reps in practice!!"
