I think you will see a unique contract. Potentially less guaranteed at signing than guys like Jefferson, due to the two years left, but still getting security. I think that Mike Brown might have been very deliberate with his comments, to try and bring some leverage back to the bengals side. I may be giving too much credit, but it seems like other teams get these things done rather easily… see DJ Moore.

Speaking of DJ Moore, is that closer to what Chases contract should look like, $27.5m/year? If I am the bengals I am going to chase now, since DJ signed a bit below the top end, but before Lamb re-signs. You might be able to get some discount….but maybe not.
