i merely pointed out that PM asked for no more money and the team has approached him both times to move (not add) money to the contract

To compare that to JC holding out with 2 years on his signed contract because he wants a drastic raise is disrespectful to Mahomes. 

Well, we don't actually know who asked for what.  It is a negotiation, after all.  Always ask for more than you'll take.

Also, not really the same, as Pat got 10 year, $450 mil extension before KC started TC his 4th year.

The Chase situation sucks, but that's life for an NFL fan.  If you don't have guys doing this every so often, then you don't have elite players.
