You guys can compare what JC is doing to the Mahomes situation if you want. Ima agree with the dude who originally brought him into the conversation as a contrast to JC's childish behavior.

I'm not bashing Mahomes at all.  He is the #1 QB in the league until proven otherwise.  And, his original second contract WAS extremely team friendly.  His current restructure is not.  

Notice how after Pat lost his Pro Bowl LT and All World WR, plus has his HoF TE grousing about pay, all of a sudden he's not being so "team friendly"?  That's how QB's put pressure on the FO.

As for Chase, playing Devil's advocate, what did Joe Burrow do without him?  Not much, as we were picking #5 the next year.  He shows up and we're in the SB, largely because of a pair of games against Baltimore and KC where he basically put the team on his back and carried them.  And everyone here knows that if Spain doesn't just stand there and watch Donald run by him, we've got a Lombardi in the trophy case because he put an elite CB on his ass and was streaking wide open down the side line.
