Doesn’t matter if you side with Chase or the team you know the Bengals have most of the leverage. He has to play or get fined/not paid unless he comes up with some phantom injury. I don’t think he would do that but I do worry that he will get hurt without any real practice or training camp. Chase works out hard but running routes/competing against other guys, even in practice, is just different.
Just waiting to see what his end game is and if he’s going to participate and be ready to go vs NE.
The announcers of last night's game sure made it seem like Chase was not playing until he got a new contract. I don't know if they had more information than anyone else, but this was the first I really began to fear Chase may not play this year unless he gets a new contract.
