Anyway, the term “generational” is thrown around way too much. Burrow is not generational. What he is is a very, very good QB who transformed a franchise that hadn’t won a single playoff game in over three decades into a legitimate contender.
I wouldn't go as far to say he isn't generational just yet: He and Mahomes are clearly head and shoulders above the rest of the QBs in the league, like Manning and Brady were for 15ish years (then Rodgers subsequently, once Peyton fell off).
There are always 2, maybe 3 QBs that are indeed generational each year, year in, year out.
He smashed/set records in the NCAA and so far, a massive amount of his talent/work in college has translated to the NFL: that screams generational to me, he just needs to have 3-4 straight years of no injuries and we will see insane numbers.
'21 and '22 were damn near close.
