I understand the friendly rivalry he has with Jefferson, but that needs to be more of a joke than reality. Let Jefferson get paid more. Means he has to treat when you go out during the offseason. Be a better player, have more wins, have more playoff wins, have super Bowl trips. Flip that into endorsement deals. He can't be that focused on #1 with the pay over Jefferson, can he?
