It is very naive to think Chase would leak an offer knowing if it was true, he likely no longer has Burrow his friend and elite QB throwing to him. He could become a Panther and have young throwing to him very quickly.
I don't believe any speculation about his offer. The bottom line is Chase is the one who said they were close and did. not disclose the offer. They would not be close if it was a low-ball garbage offer.
As for trading him ala what KC did with Hill, he worked for KC so if given a boatload of picks in 2025 by trading him prior the draft, it is not a horrible solution.
He is one player and one player other than QB does not win you 4 or 5 games a year.
In the end, I like him and hope they work it out, if not certainly the end of the world.
