I can certainly watch a game on tv that's played in a dome, but as a viewer I'd much prefer a game being played outside. For example, as much as I discussed hating rain in my post above, a rainy game on tv doesn't bother me, and snow games are downright fun to watch. So for a game I'm not attending, give me the elements. In person though, I have zero problem with a dome. Over the years I attended roughly two dozen games at the Pontiac Silverdome, and believe me, there was never a time I went to usually cold and sometimes rainy/snowy suburban Detroit in November and wished that the game were being played back at Tiger Stadium. No sir. You walk in, take off your coat and sit in 72 degree comfort. Yeah, if it's a nice day you miss being outside, but if it isn't, you're thankful for the dome.
My first NFL game was at the old Silverdome! Boy scout troop went to watch the Lions against Buccaneers. The elements don't bother me much.
