Hamilton Co. to consider dome for Paycor

As for the Super Bowl, the challenge is not airport location (still less than 30 minutes to downtown) or the number of hotel rooms it is the lack of LUXURY hotel rooms. The additional 600 or so rooms from the new convention center hotel will help but realistically to host a Supor Bowl, Cincinnati's downtown would need another 600 or so high-end rooms on top of that to host. That means hotels like Ritz Carlton, W, JW Marriott, Conrad, Four Seasons, Intercontinental. The problem is that Cincinnati doesn't have the daily business to support that many more rooms in the market.

The airport is less than 30 minutes from downtown for half the day, and that's with only the 1.7 million locals in the metro area around. However many thousands descend on Super Bowl cities would love that cut in the hill, the bridge, and the Lockland Split. I always thought the traffic down there was asinine for the amount of people in area. I will grant you that most major cities have some goofy spots though.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.
